LYL is all about you! We strive to provide you with the highest service possible in a relaxing environment to address your hair care needs as well as educate you on how to keep your hair healthy between appointments. 


LYL is open 6 days a week by appointment only and we do not double book in order to give each client one-on-one personal

* LYL guarantees to start on time, or within 15 minutes of your appointment time, or you will receive a discount off your service. This guarantee does not apply for clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late.  On-time Guarantee cannot be used with any other discounts.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Clients must arrive and be inside of the salon no later than 15 minutes after their appointment start time or it will be cancelled and entire deposit forfeited.   NO EXCEPTIONS. If your appointment is at 11 AM, you must be inside of the salon NO later than 11:15 AM. If you arrive at 11:16 AM it will be canceled.  LYL is open by appoint on

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require 2 days notice or 1 hour after booking if appointment is made less than two days in advance. 


Cancellations made on the day of the appointment are considered a No Call/No Show and entire deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations made with only 2 weeks notice will forfeit 50% of deposit and the appointment must be rescheduled within 1 month. Cancellations made with 1 week or less notice will forfeit the entire deposit.

Unless determined to be necessary, all consultations will be completed by text or email.


In-person consultation includes a physical examination of hair and scalp as well as addressing any concerns or questions you may have regarding Loc Hair Care, Loc Creation, or Loc Repairs.

Ten minute grace period from the start of their consultations. After that time, the consultation is cancelled and the fee is forfeited.


As with any appointment, LYL requires two days notice to reschedule/cancel to avoid forfeiting deposit.

Due to liability reasons and to ensure a relaxing experience for all of our clients, we do not allow children under the age of 12 to accompany parents unless they are being serviced. 


​ Children under the age of 12 may book services but an adult is required to be with them during the duration of the service. 


Teens 13-17 may receive serv

- Pick Ups: Clients who are being picked up must have their ride arrive no later than 15 minutes after their service is complete. If not, client may be asked to wait outside to in order to respect the privacy of next client.


- Guests: NO GUESTS ARE ALLOWED. Parents of underage clients are allowed.



PRE-PAY

Clients are able to pay in advance (Pre-Payment) for Shampoo & Retwist services.
If two or more services are paid for in advance, $10 will be discounted off each service.
Can be purchased without scheduling an appointment.
Each Pre-Payments must be used within 90 days of purchase date or within each other.
Meaning 2 Pre-Payments must be used within 6 months, 3 in 9 months, etc.
Pre-Payments are treated like deposits and all policies apply (Deposits, Cancellations, Tardiness, etc.). Be sure to review all LYL Policies.

GIFT CARDS

Give The Perfect Gift! Send an eGift Card in any amount you choose. - NON-REFUNDABLE   - Card value does not expire. ​ ​- Redeemable in-store and may be used for deposits. Contact LYL for more info on using gift cards to pay deposits.   - All LYL Policies apply to gift cards (Deposits, Cancellations/Rescheduling, Tardiness, etc.). Be sure to review all LYL Policies.
